WEBPC's Talk2Me service is a live chat and real-time live monitoring service that allows web site operators to interact with thier web site visitors.You can also be proactive and initiate the chat! It makes the experience of visiting your web site a personal experience.
The service is hosted by WEBPC we look after all the 'backend' so you can concentrate on your site's visitors. To use the service a small amount of javascript is included in the pages on your web site you want to monitor or provide a chat link on. This means that your site doesn't have to be hosted with WEBPC (though we would like to host it for you) and can be on any type of web server.
Your operators install the operator program on thier PC which they use to log into the service. They don't have to all be in the one location so you don't need a call center. Just a PC and an Internet connection. The operator program requires Windows 2000 or higher and Microsoft's .NET Framework.

No Client Side Downloads or Installs Unlike some other similar services your web site visitors do NOT need to install Java or download an Active-X component in order to chat with an operator. The HTML client ensures that the Talk2Me service will operate on all Javascript enabled computers, making the chat process as easy as possible for your customers. This also means the chat can happen through corporate firewalls.
Managed Chat Queues Definable chat queues with the ability to assign individual operators to each queue. You may also assign an operator as a Manager to oversee each group. For example, designate a different queue for Sales, Support, etc. Finally you can ensure that your customers get the right help from the right people at the right time.
Operator's have the ability to set their availability to Away, Online, Back in Five and Out to Lunch. The icons shown are the default chat icons included with the service. The service automatically updates what is displayed dependent on the the status of the operators.
If you want different Icons for your page you can either design them yourself and send them to us or for a reasonable charge we can design them for you. They can be any size you want to make them.
CustomizationsFor a small charge the visitor chat interface and the chat icons can be changed to add your company logo, change the colors, the text, even the layout. Taking it a step further, the visitor chat interface can be customized for every site that you have setup.
After Hours MessageIf all operators are offline, visitors have the option to leave an email message for a customer representative.
Customizable Pre Chat SurveysYou can also create pre chat surveys that can be customized with the questions you want to ask the customer. Collect the name of the visitor so you can further personlize the chat. You can also collect other details such as email address for followup.
